Dharma Day Festival | Led by Ratnaprabha & Karunagita

Dharma Day Festival

Buddhism got underway when the Buddha first succeeded in communicating teachings and methods that enabled others to reach awakening.  Two months after his enlightenment his first disciples became awakened in the same way that he had under the Bodhi Tree. So we celebrate this "first turning of the wheel of Dharma" every year as the Dharma Day festival. What was it that he taught? How did he manage to translate a private and direct experience into words and advice?

Led by Ratnaprabha & Karunagita
