Using mindfulness as a tool we can learn to work with thoughts to become more creative and energetic, and better able to face life’s challenges.

Sometimes it feels like it feels like we're not really living life to the fullest. More and more people are turning to mindfulness for help with this. Life with Full Attention is an eight-week practical course that puts mindfulness back into its Buddhist context, going beyond just coping with the stresses of modern life to guide us towards the limitless potential of our mind and reality itself.

The course is for newcomers, for those wanting to revisit the fundamentals of mindfulness practice or those wanting to renew their inspiration. The course assumes you do not have lots of free time and is designed to be integrated into busy lives.

Led by Ksantikara and team.

“There are hundreds of books on mindfulness, but for a practical guide I would turn first to Life with Full Attention...”
— Alice O'Keefe, The Guardian

What to expect?

In each class, we will explore an aspect of mindfulness that you’ll be putting into practice over the following week – from day-to-day mindfulness, to mindfulness of reality. We will also meditate, and share in small groups how we’re getting on with applying mindfulness. You will receive a copy of the book, and be encouraged to read it between each class.

For the first time, this course will be accompanied by a new Life With Full Attention app that’s been specifically designed to support those taking part.

  • Attending to the small things so that we can concentrate on the big ones and what's important in life.

  • Stepping back from thoughts into our direct physical experience to gain a greater perspective.

  • Exploring how life feels – the texture of life. These are the building blocks of our experience, moods, and emotions.

  • Understanding that everything we experience, we experience through the mind. Cultivating our mind towards greater happiness.

  • Training ourselves to notice that when we act out of positive states of mind, we feel happier, more creative, tolerant, and expansive.

  • Enriching our lives with art and beauty.  Mindfulness is about more life – we need to remember to appreciate and enjoy things.

  • Making a conscious effort to see things from other people's point of view, so that feelings of concern and appreciation naturally arise.

  • Connecting with a life-changing, transcendental insight into how things really are – a wholly new way of perceiving beyond the duality of science and religion.
